Bolthouse Farms Avocado Green Goddess Salad Dressing

One thing is for sure about Bolthouse Farms Avocado Green Goddess salad dressing. You won’t be hunting around for the classic herby green goddess flavor. It’s right there, right up front. Parsley, basil and chives are plentiful in this buttermilk-based slightly peppery dressing. It tastes fresh from the moment you open the bottle until you pour the last drop. The avocado adds a nice creaminess to every bite and adds a nice balance to the dressing.

Bolthouse Farms Avocado Green Goddess Salad Dressing

Briannas Home Style Real French Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

I’ve always been a fan of Italian salad dressing. Briannas Home Style Real French Vinaigrette salad dressing blows every single one of them away and then some. Some dressings are too vinegary. Or too herby. Not this one. Not once did I get that vinegar choke (bleh!). I could drink this dressing straight from the bottle. I absolutely love it.

Briannas Home Style Real French Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

More Than A Vinaigrette

Briannas Home Style Real French Vinaigrette salad dressing does a lot more than just make for great salads. It’s a great marinade, too. Chicken. Steak. Pork. Or use it as a dressing on green beans. Any recipe that calls for Italian dressing will be even better with this vinaigrette. A lot better.

Bolthouse Farms Everything Seasoned Ranch Salad Dressing

Bored with Ranch dressing? Well, then you need a Ranch dressing that is like no other: Bolthouse Farms Everything Seasoned Ranch Salad dressing. The fine folks at Bolthouse Farms start with their already-delicious Ranch and add garlic (yum!), onion (yum!) and toasted sesame oil (boom!). Then you go drink it out of the bottle. No, I’m kidding about that part. Well mostly. It’s darned good dressing, you’ll be tempted to drink it!

The Perfect Balance

Ok, I gotta confess. Me and sesame oil don’t always like each other. There’s some magical point at which it becomes too much for me. Well, not in this case. Bolthouse Farms Everything Seasoned Ranch salad dressing doesn’t cross my sesame oil line. It has that great toasted flavor without being too strong.

Briannas Home Style Dijon Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

This was our third different flavor of dressing from Brianna’s. Like the Asiago Caesar and Creamy Balsamic ones, Briannas Home Style Dijon Honey Mustard Salad Dressing was absolutely divine. They know dressings over there at Briannas. The mustard flavors aren’t too strong. They’re spot-on perfect. That’s a good thing for me, because too much mustard is … too much! If I can’t resist putting more mustardy dressing on my salad you know that it is balanced perfectly.

Just the right sweetness

There’s just enough sweetness from the honey that you notice it but it’s definitely not overly sweet. Again, balanced perfectly. Nice and creamy smooth, I cannot recommend it enough!

Briannas Home Style Dijon Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

More than a salad dressing

You can use this Briannas Home Style Dijon Honey Mustard salad dressing on more than just salads. If you want to. I mean, heck, it’s crazy good on salads. If you want to use it as a chicken marinade, go for it. Or as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets or veggies. Sure. Go for that too. I’ve even read of people using it as a dipping sauce for egg rolls. That’s an idea I can definitely get behind! Or brush it on a ham as a lightly sweet, lightly mustardy glaze that’s sure to amaze everyone!

Cardini’s Caesar Salad Dressing

Classics are classics for a reason. They’ve stood the test of time and are still around. Caesar dressing has been around for just about 100 years. It was invented in Tijuana by, yep you guessed it, a guy named Caesar. Caesar Cardini. The dressing is a wonderful combination of lemon, olive oil, egg, vinegar, lemon juice and a few other ingredients. Cardini’s Caesar salad dressing uses those same great classic ingredients. This is a great tasting bottled dressing.

Cardini's Caesar Salad Dressing

The right mount of vinegar

I really enjoyed that Cardini’s Caesar salad dressing wasn’t too vinegary. It’s nice and smooth. Too much vinegar can really detract from what could be a great dressing. Not here. The vinegar has the perfect balance, along with the other ingredients. It’s thick, but not too thick.

You won’t need a whole lot of this dressing to make for a great tasting salad. It’s such a wonderful flavor that you’ll find yourself savoring each and every bite. I’ve seen reviewers refer to it as ‘refreshing’ and I think that describes it perfectly.

To anchovy or not to anchovy

This bottled version does not include anchovies in the ingredients. The original dressing didn’t contain them either. I always thought it was a common addition, but turns out they were added later.

Fresh Thyme Organic French Style Salad Dressing

Oh yum. I do love French dressing. It’s probably tied with Ranch on my go-to list. Fresh Thyme Organic French Style salad dressing has a fantastic, clean taste that satisfied my French craving and then some. You don’t have to sacrifice great flavor and consistency when you grab an organic dressing, not when you have this one in your pantry. You’ll love the slightly tangy, salty and somewhat spicy flavor on your salad.

A nice pour…

The dressing is creamy, but not overly so. I love creamy dressings, but there’s a limit to just how much creaminess there can be before a dressing is hard to pour. You want a dressing that pours easily and consistently so that your salad is nice and evenly dressed. A salad with a little dressing here, a little more there, and a lot more over there isn’t a good salad. With this dressing you’ll get the consistency you need and want!

Fresh Thyme Organic French Style Salad Dressing

Great taste at the right price…

I found Fresh Thyme Organic French Style salad dressing to be delicious. No reason to grab a big-brand non-organic dressing when you can get better flavor in a quality dressing for just a little more money. This is a great dressing at a great price. So grab a few bottles! I did!

California Pizza Kitchen Thai Salad Dressing

No, I did not have to sleep on the sofa. But, there was dissent in our household over this California Pizza Kitchen Thai salad dressing. We both loved the peanut flavor. And the soy sauce adds that nice Asian-inspired component. The dressing is slightly sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. But then came the sesame oil and our opinions became to differ. My wife loved it, thought it was the perfect balance and addition to the dressing. Me, I thought it was a bit too much. When I cook with sesame oil I tend to use less than the recipe calls for. I would’ve used less when making this dressing, too.

California Pizza Kitchen Thai Salad Dressing

Not Just A Salad Dressing

I could see, however, using California Pizza Kitchen Thai Salad Dressing on something other salads. Perhaps as a marinade for grilled chicken. Or as a dipping sauce for pot stickers or, oh yum, egg rolls. It’s not a bad dressing, not at all. My wife absolutely loves it. If you’re into sesame oil, though, you’ll love it too. For my tastes, I’d just tame the sesame oil a bit.

Briannas Home Style Creamy Balsamic Salad Dressing

I continue to be impressed with the dressings from Briannas. Every bottle has been an adventure in different tastes, all wonderful. For tonight’s salad I went with Briannas Home Style Creamy Balsamic Salad Dressing salad dressing, and oh how happy was I!

Everything I love in a dressing!

Slightly sweet and not overly-vinegary, this is a dressing I could enjoy again and again. With just a hint of garlic and Dijon, it’s a well-balanced dressing with the perfect consistency for drizzling on a salad.

Briannas Home Style Creamy Balsamic Salad Dressing

Briannas Home Style Creamy Balsamic Salad Dressing is fantastic on a salad. I could see using it as a marinade for chicken, too. Or maybe brushing it on grilled shrimp or even salmon. It’s just an all-around great dressing, just like the others I’ve had from Briannas.

Forget self-control!

I have to control my self around great dressings like this one. I have to pour out a serving into small dressing cups. It’s not safe for me to have a full bottle of dressing on the table, not when I could just pick it up and drink it. So, lacking whatever it is that would stop me from using too much dressing, I have to rely on the little cups to control me.

Panera Bread Greek Vinaigrette

Panera Bread Greek Vinaigrette is superb. I could’ve just grabbed a straw and drank it out of the bottle. Even though I was ‘just’ having a small salad, this dressing made it special and then some. Not too vinegary, this dressing is nice and creamy with a slight hint of garlic and plenty of spices that make me think ‘Mediterranean’. I really hated the moment my salad was gone.

Panera Bread Greek Vinaigrette

Mediterranean Flavors in every Bite

I’ve read where Panera Bread Greek Vinaigrette is often used as a marinade. I could see that it would be fantastic on chicken. A few hours in a ‘dressing bath’ then onto the grill, chicken breasts would be delicious. But, that’s not what I first thought of when I tasted it. I thought: submarine sandwich. Yep. That’s right. Vinegar and oil or even cream Italian dressings often end up on subs. This dressing would be phenomenal on a sandwich. That’s exactly where my next bottle is going.

Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa Salad Dressing

Chick-fil-A recently made their salad dressings available in grocery stores. I’m probably the only one on the planet that hasn’t had their dressings in their restaurants. I grabbed a bottle of each new flavor and got to making some salads. This is my second flavor, the Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa salad dressing. This is now my favorite dressing. And not just sorta, either. It makes me think of sour cream combined with a little salsa and some lime juice. And a bit of chile powder and cumin, but not too much. It has just a little hint of spiciness. I could drink this stuff out of the bottle. I’d dip veggies into it. Or I’d drizzle it on tacos for sure. I’d freeze it into salad dressing pops. Ok, maybe not that.

Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa Salad Dressing

Bigger would be better…

If I was forced to have a complaint about the Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa salad dressing is that the bottle it comes in is a bit small. I really, really like it. A lot. Normal people are probably just fine with the 12 ounce bottles. I of course have a solution to my problem, I buy 3-4 of them at a time!
