Place slaw mix in a large bowl.
Place vinegar and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan and stir.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes.
Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mix and stir to coat.
Serve warm.
Stir again before serving.
Store leftovers in the fridge and serve cold.
