Brother Jimmy’s BBQ: More than 100 Recipes is packed full of great recipes. From BBQ to tailgating to… salad dressing! I picked up a copy because because it just so happened that I was making wings for lunch and I needed something (other than bottled Ranch dressing) for dipping. This blue cheese salad dressing was it. And this will be it from now on, because this is the easiest, best blue cheese dressing you can make. Not only great for wings, it’s great on salads or for dipping veggies. Anything.

Easy. And Great. And Lightly Funky.
It is blue cheese salad dressing so it’s got blue cheese in it! And that of course means blue cheese flavor. And funk. But not too much funk. This is recipe is spot-on perfect in the funkiness category.
There are so many great cookbooks, and so little time. Our local library has online checkout of literally thousands of cookbooks. That’s great and…. sorta not great! Easy access to tons and tons of cookbooks means I read them for hours and hours on end. I end up bookmarking recipe after recipe. And then my stomach starts to growl. So then I end up making recipe after recipe. And the cycle continues! Day after day!
