I almost passed on making this copycat Outback Steakhouse tangy tomato salad dressing. I’ve made lots of copycats of the dressings from Outback, like their ranch dressing, and I love them. The thought of tomato paste in a dressing made me scratch my head. Made me worry. A bit. Well, all that was for naught because it came out great. More like a French dressing. Or even a tomato soup sorta, but in a dressing format. Still sound odd? It’s not!

Salad Up!
I think this is one of those ‘perfect for a simple salad’ dressings. You know, nothing fancy is required here. Some lettuce. A few other things. No need to spend 30 minutes putting it together. This copycat Outback Steakhouse tangy tomato salad dressing will make it feel fancy. It’ll take that simple salad and make it ‘wow’ with great tomatoey flavor.
